Hi,
TI SOCs like DM3730, AM3715 which are enabled with 3D Graphics cores are capable of accelerating 3D graphics operations with dedicated hardware. The dedicated hardware is based on SGX series of devices from Imagination Technologies. The 3D graphics core in 3730,3715 is SGX530. It provides acceleration of OpenGLES1.1,2.0 APIs. Linux Graphics SDK package provides drivers for this graphics core (SGX530) and example code, demos that demonstrate the capabilities of the graphics core on TI Socs & also helps in developing software based on the OpenGL-ES APIs. Thus the linux graphics SDK provides drivers for SGX, OpenGL ES 1.1, 2.0 API acceleration support using SGX only.
